1. Scope and Conclusion of Contract

These General Terms and Conditions govern the accommodation agreement between DogMountainInn (the "Accommodation Provider") and the guest or booking party (the "Guest").
The accommodation contract is finalized upon receipt of the booking confirmation by the Accommodation Provider and the receipt of the required down payment.
Subsisting or alternative individual agreements made in writing shall take precedence over these standard terms.

A down payment of 25% of the total booking amount is due within 14 days of the invoice date to secure the reservation.
The remaining balance of 75% must be settled no later than 4 weeks prior to the scheduled arrival date.
For bookings made within 4 weeks of arrival, the full booking amount is due immediately upon invoice receipt.
All bank transfer fees and transaction costs are the responsibility of the Guest.

Cancellations must be submitted in written form (e.g., by email) to be legally valid.
In the event of a cancellation by the Guest, the following statutory compensation fees apply:
- More than 6 weeks prior to arrival: 25% of the total agreed booking amount.
- Between 6 weeks and 4 weeks prior to arrival: 50% of the total agreed booking amount.
- Within 4 weeks of arrival or no-show: 100% of the total agreed booking amount.
If the accommodation can be rebooked to another guest for the same period at the full rate, payments already made will be refunded minus a reasonable administrative fee.
Early departure or late arrival does not entitle the Guest to a full or partial refund of the agreed booking amount.

Rented accommodations are available for check-in from 16:00 on the agreed day of arrival.
Guests arriving early are welcome to wait in the DogMountainInn bistro until the accommodation is prepared.
Accommodations must be vacated no later than 10:00 on the agreed day of departure.
Administrative check-out procedures may be completed on Friday evening to accommodate early departure on Saturday morning.

Final cleaning fees and local tourist taxes (Ortstaxe) are calculated and billed separately:
- Tourist Tax: €2.55 per person per night (for guests aged 15 and over). As of 1 May 2027, the tax increases to €3.15 per person per night. Tourist tax payment includes free public transport within Salzburgerland in accordance with regional regulations.
Electricity Allowance: Electricity is included up to a value of €10 per day. Any consumption exceeding this threshold will be billed separately at departure based on actual meter readings and local utility supply rates.

Guests are required to review the informational folder provided in the accommodation upon arrival and adhere to house rules.
Household waste must be sorted and placed outside upon departure as instructed in the information folder. Accommodations must be left broom-clean and in a tidy condition.
Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the entire indoor facility.
The Guest is legally liable for any damage caused to the property or inventory by themselves, fellow travelers, or their pets, and must report any damage to the Accommodation Provider immediately.

Guests are expected to bring their own bed linen and towels, unless booked otherwise. A clean fitted sheet is provided in all accommodations free of charge.
Optional bed linen and towel packages are available for €20 per person (includes 1 large towel, 1 small towel, 1 duvet cover, and 1 pillowcase). Kitchen linen is provided.
Use of property equipment (TV, stereo, appliances) and complementary Wi-Fi is at the Guest's own risk.

Dogs stay free of charge. A maximum of two dogs is permitted per apartment. Additional dogs require prior written approval.
Dogs must have valid rabies vaccinations and up-to-date treatments for worms, fleas, and ticks. Official proof (e.g., pet passport) must be presented upon request.
Dogs are strictly prohibited on beds and sofas unless protected by the Guest's own clean blanket or sheet.
Dogs must be kept on a lead in public areas, villages, and residential spaces. Letting dogs run free in agricultural fields surrounding DogMountainInn is prohibited.
Dog owners must collect all pet waste on and off the property. Flushing dog waste down toilets is strictly prohibited.
Participation in guided walks is subject to the separate DogWalkTrail Terms and Conditions.

The Accommodation Provider is liable for property damage or loss only in cases of intent or gross negligence (Vorsatz oder grobe Fahrlässigkeit), as governed by Austrian law. Liability for slight negligence (leichte Fahrlässigkeit) is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
The Accommodation Provider is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal items brought onto the premises by Guests.
The contractual relationship is governed exclusively by Austrian substantive law. The place of jurisdiction is the competent court for 5722 Niedernsill, Austria, subject to statutory consumer jurisdiction rules under Austrian consumer protection legislation.
